The Boys continues their hilarious Emmy Awards parody by posting red carpet coverage of The Seven all glammed up and styled at the Supie Awards.
The Boys unveiled The Seven’s glamorous red carpet look for the Supies, a hilarious Emmy’s parody. The Amazon Prime satirical show about corrupt superheroes is based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. In the world of The Boys, a group called The Seven are the most revered superheroes, or “supes,” in America. Led by the charming yet homicidal Homelander (Antony Starr), The Seven seem nearly impervious to scandals. By the end of season 2, The Seven are still adored by the public, despite the best efforts by the Boys to take them down for good. The Boys season 2 has been nominated for five Emmy awards.
The true villains behind Homelander and the Seven are Vought International. Season 1 of The Boys revealed that Vought was injecting children with Compound V for decades, thus debunking the myth that supes were naturally born with powers. Vought’s main concern from the get-go was capitalizing off of supes and The Seven as much as possible. The company was always quick to cover up controversies surrounding The Seven, including the Compound V scandal and the fact that Stormfront (Aya Cash) was actually a Nazi. The head of Vought International, Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) seemed to have a solution for every issue surrounding the supes.

Artist ljsupersuits designed some gorgeous outfits for the Seven to wear for the Supies, which were then illustrated by Gina DeDomenico, a costume concept artist for The Boys. Vought International posted the Seven in their red carpet outfits for the Supies below. Homelander, Queen Maeve, A-Train, The Deep, Starlight, and Black Noir can all be seen in thread. Check out the incredible images below.
Homelander kicked off the evening with a patriotic show-stopping look designed by Vought International. The fabrics are all made in America by American laborers, paid in American dollars.

Queen Maeve reminded us all that she’s femme 4 femme queer royalty tonight. Don’t you just feel Pride looking at her? Yaaas queen, now sissy that walk!

A-Train designed his look himself! He loved the process so much that he told our Vought+ red carpet reporter his new album is on hold as he pursues design! Would you wear an A-Train original?

Starlight was her usual sunny self, brightening the red carpet with the pious, wholesome sparkle that can only come from praying twice a day! Clear-eyed beauty, no ulterior motives…what you see with Starlight is what you get.

Back from his temporary leave, it’s The Deep! He walked the carpet dressed as a jellyfish, which is apparently an animal made extinct in recent years by underwater fracking! Ya learn something new every day (and news to us because Vought does not participate in such things.)

Well, Black Noir certainly knows how to stay on brand. Our red carpet reporter asked if he spruced anything up for the Supies and he pantomimed that he was actually wearing a beautiful necklace underneath all the… leather.

Each outfit matches the Seven perfectly and Vought International’s captions are hilarious and definitely on point. It would be fun if they continued this hilarious parody by posting if any of The Seven won any Supies. The Supies red carpet coverage is a hilarious way to poke fun at the actual Emmy Awards ceremony occurring tonight. The Boys are up for Emmy awards in several categories, including one for Best Drama Series.

The series continues to up up the ante each season and is definitely deserving of the nominations, and hopefully The Boys walks away with an Emmy or two. Beyond the blood, dark humor, and whale-impalement moments, The Boys is phenomenal for its incredibly complex cast of characters and the way the show continues to ramp up the stakes in unexpected and incredibly exciting ways. Season 3 has finished filming, and hopefully fans will be able to watch the premiere before the end of the year.
